Join us, join our cause

As a member, you can visit as often you like and each time you do you’ll see the difference you’re making. So, as you wrap up warm and find solace in the beauty of wetland nature, remember that you are helping protect and restore wetlands for generations to come.

How you’ll be helping

As a charity, funds from membership are one of the ways we carry out crucial projects and right now we’re making sure our native and migratory birds, such as Bewick’s swans, have enough food to last them through the cold winter.

Membership also supports our work all year round by protecting species that have fallen victim to habitat destruction and ensuring we can continue essential campaigns against climate change, water pollution and biodiversity loss.

Membership helps keeps wetlands and species safe.

Millions of waterbirds saved when we helped persuade MEPs to end the use of lead shot in EU wetlands

Over 50 more natural flood management features were installed during 2020, slowing water downstream

49 pairs of red-listed breeding black-tailed godwits were recorded across the fens in 2020, another increase
